There's always next weekend
Crappy weekend, in that many fun plans had to be canceled. The things that made me feel better:
- Watching "The Great Muppet Caper" for the first time in about 20 years
- Eating my new favorite flavor ice cream that NSAH bought me from the store
- Hearing AB laugh his head off as Small Dog went to town, licking the boy on his arms, legs, feet and face as if he were made of the aforementioned ice cream
- Knowing that we have sweet, sweet neighbors who will come through for us in an emergency
- The fact that I'll be watching "Reno 911!" later tonight

Sorry about the crappy weekend, but welcome home to Happiness Hotel!
Steering Wheel Souffle for dinner... again?
Gee, I wish that stuff wasn't called "Fudge Tracks."
Muppet Caper the BEST of hte Muppet movies.
I am a Muppet freak
Sorry about the crappy weekend. Big hugs!
KathyR, you almost RUINED that ice cream for me. Ewwwwww! (I say "almost" because it's so good, I wouldn't care if it was called "Monkey Vomit"--I'd still eat it.)
Simple pleasures, all. The very best kind.
I'm having the same sort of love with Ben and Jerry's "Sweet Cream and Cookies" right now. I'm eating a lot of that, and I'm trying to convince myself that it's somehow good for me because it's organic.
Self-delusion, ah, how we love ye!
Despite the name, the ice cream sounds delish! Sorry to hear you had a crappy weekend!
Mmm, maybe I need ice cream. Although that won't help me to feel any less frumpy, I suppose.
I never get enough of AB stories.
Edy's is one of my favorite store-bought ice creams too...I like their cookies & cream...yummy! I like their Dibs too. And, speaking of old movies, we just saw "Ghostbusters" for the first time in forever (it was on some random TV channel)...hope you have a better week!!
I hope you didn't find out that they'll come through in an emergency through first-hand experience? Hope all is well, and glad to hear that the ice cream was great!
Random I know but a friend of mine recently saw the play "Some Girls" in New York (Maura Tierney stars in it, along with Eric McCormack & some other notables) -- she liked it and she said MT is beautiful IRL. Just thought you'd be interested in that little tidbit :)
